Consultant – Human Resources & Administration

Mr. H. B. N. W. Anura Kumara serves as a Consultant (Human Resources & Administration) to the Cultural Center, providing strategic guidance and professional expertise in organizational management and administrative development.

He currently holds the position of Acting Deputy General Manager – Human Resources & Administration, and has served as the General Manager of Gills Mineraux International (Pvt) Ltd, based in Wattala, Sri Lanka. In addition, he is the Director of the Institute of Human Resources (IHR), contributing to professional development and capacity building in the field of human resource management.

Mr. Kumara possesses strong academic qualifications, including Bachelor’s, Master’s, MSc, and M.Phil degrees, as well as a Higher Diploma in Counselling and Philosophy, reflecting his multidisciplinary expertise in management, human development, and ethical leadership.

He also serves as a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the entire island of Sri Lanka, a role that highlights his integrity, public service, and commitment to national responsibility.

Through his extensive professional experience and academic background, Mr. Anura Kumara provides valuable advisory support to strengthen the governance, human resources, and administrative systems of the Cultural Center.
